Hi, I'm Kristen, a self-taught papercut artist living in Austin, Texas with her husband and two young sons.

Papercutting allows me think both analytically and creatively. When creating a new piece, I must think about both how things are connected, which pieces can be cut out, and how layers of paper need to line up-- the fun comes from figuring out this puzzle while not sacrificing good design.
